I love the zoo. Yes, it is small, but not everywhere you go has a zoo. I think it is so cool to have it here in Decatur. I love being able to go and watch the animals and relax for awhile.

The petting zoo was very fun. Not that much to see but a nice little trip away from Springfield. Train ride and carousel.

don't waste your money on the train... it only does a figure 8 around ONE SIDE of the zoo! it doesn't even do a full lap around the complex...
