Great park. Lovely playground at the entrance, a fishing pond with geese, a covered pavilion with grills, and access to the Greenway. Lots of stuff to do.

They've made some major improvements to this park. All new playground, bathrooms, a greenway and 12 hold disk gold course. They have a couple of pavilions great for cookouts and kids birthday parties.

Matthews best kept secret. I walked a little over a mile from the main entrance to get there. Nice fountain and deck to fish on. Awesome play equipment.

Don't tell anyone about this place ... best park in the Charlotte area. Beautiful Greenway's, pond w/ dock, and fantastic play area for kids.

Another problem - the big kids' slides and monkey bars are incredibly high. Kind of scarily high even. Otherwise, great playground!

One problem with this park - the few benches are placed right behind large equipment so it's hard to see the whole playground at a glance (and keep an eye on the kids easily).
