It was designed by Italian architect Genaro Ruggieri, and inaugurated on October 1, 1908. It’s a neoclassical designed. To each side of the main entrance are 2 statues that represent the muse of lyrics and music and 6 medallions of Wagner, Shakespeare, Molière, Rossini, Cervantes and Lope de Vega
