Great views of the lake. Hot food isn't served all day though which is a massive shame. If you arrive when they are only serving sandwiches then I would suggest going up the hill to Travellers Rest.

Dropped in for a quick bite after getting the steamer across from Pooley Bridge. Got the Croque Monsieur and it was amazing. Great value for money. Made the perfect snack!

The scenic drive over Kirkstone Pass brings you through Patterdale to Glenridding the location for the Inn on the Lake. A beautiful location with amazing views.
