On a scale of "hide yo kids, hide yo wives" to "safe", it's "next to a checks cashed with bars on the window...oh and a random subway".

This was a really nice hotel, especially for a small family; husband, wife and two small children. Great welcome with a bottle of water, staff great! Nice clean room. Great location for downtown LA.

This part of town is a bit sketchy. The view from my room is the trashiest backyard I have ever seen. It's clean though.

nice area. clean. jacuzzi next to pool. Thrifty car rental shares the parking garage in back. Parking garage = covered parking!
