One of my favorite hotels in the area but as if May 19, 2014, it's now the Doubletree by Hilton Newark/Fremont. New furniture and carpet in the rooms looks great... and don't forget the cookies!

My pet peeve with all Hilton properties is that there is no handy plugin by the bed. I have to move the bed to plug in my phone. Get with the 21st century.

Free breakfast & drinks in the concierge lounge at 1/2 price of Hampton in Mountain View. Not as convenient to Palo Alto, but I'll stay here every time! And like everyone else said, staff is awesome!

The hotel restaurant is very good.- cob salad was quite popular and arrived quickly. The french fries were actual potatoes in the not so distant past.

Hotel is nicely decor'ed however, the showers are designed for folks shorter than 5 feet tall and rooms overlooking the pool are strangely noisy. Small parking spaces.
