Housekeeping is not great. If you really need cheap trinkets, the shops across the highway are 3x the price of the ones at Talkeetna except for the fudge. The fudge is truly excellent.

Great lodge but not a great location. I preferred staying at Mt. McKinley Princess Lodge (better view of the mountain, better amenities, and the same activities)

Beautiful lodge, stores are quaint, although a bit expensive, rooms are clean, roomy and in cabin style. Would love to stay here again.
