This sympathetic inn hosts a local cheese factory. Offering includes great pizzas with interesting fillings like moose or reindeer. Cakes are delicious and one can buy local cheese to go.

Lunch was beyond expectations, and all breads, pies and sweet things seemed wonderful. Homemade, high quality and made of fresh, local ingredients. Will stop here again whenever driving the route.

I bet this highway side bakery sells the biggest cake pieces in Finland. Worth a stop if you're not in a hurry from Helsinki towards the North. Expect crowds, long cashier lines and stressed staff.

Good place to have a coffee break on your way from Oulu to Helsinki. You can also buy artisan cheese.
