The service was abysmal. The wine we ordered didn't arrive even after asking staff again after 30 minutes, we had to go to the bar and ask for it. The food was cold because we had to wait for cutlery.

Sunday menu, delicious and impressive offer. Try a pint of Wainwright ale, and enjoy. Only "but" is the scarce gravy on the meat, which was totally insufficient for the Yorkshire Pudding!!!!

The food here was just 'ok'. Travel a short distance along the A6 towards Stockport to the 'Red Lion' at High Lane for far superior food!
