The upstairs used to be a brothel in the early 20th century. True story a man was murdered here and the bloodied knife was left in the bar. The gash marks can still be seen on the main bar top.

Indiana's oldest bar, opened as the Tremont house in 1850. One of the best bars in Indianapolis, live blues music most nights, excellent service, and also reputedly haunted!
