The new Branch Manager, Elias Bewketu, is quite good and actually listens and cares. Not at all characteristic of Barclays. Maybe there is hope. Still recommend First Direct as one good man doesn´t

Barclays is by far the worst bank on the planet. Impossible to open an account and even worse to close an account and all the while they steal money from you. Go to First Direct.
