Another great Civil War site worth checking out! Try the "Behind The Scenes" tour.

The guided tour was extremely blasé about slavery in a very uncomfortable way.

This was our second time on the Battle of Franklin tour to Carnton. Lucky enough to get Kristy as the tour guide. Very informative and recommend this full tour to any Civil War history buffs.

There was a battle on the site of this plantation museum during the Civil War, and you still see bullet holes and blood stains on the floor. It is supposed to be haunted.

The older guy who has a receding hairline has a very frustrating voice when giving his tours. It would be a much better tour if it were self-guided.

Union and Confederate armies met here in 1864: 9000 soldiers were killed or wounded within five hours. Legend holds that the main house’s floors are still stained with blood. (From Aerial America)
