Auf der Verkehrsinsel vis-a-vis vom Marble Arch, stand einmal ein Galgen an dem viele Menschen gehängt wurden. Manchmal wurden auch bereits tote Menschen hängend "ausgestellt" (z.B. Oliver Cromwell)
