This is one of my favourite pubs in Ottawa. You can almost forget you are in Canada. The beer is fantastic. If it's on tap try the Coffee Porter. It's something special.

Food was good! Slowest, most inattentive service I've had anywhere in a loooong time though. My wife even had to go get us more drinks herself.

Ashton's Brewing Co.'s beer is available at the pub in growlers. Pints can be found closer to Ottawa at Quinn's or Patty's Pub.

Brummie fish cakes are awesome!! Nice to sit out on the deck overlooking the river on a warm summer day :-) Decent beer selection, too.
