Due to the distance of the ocean from the boardwalk, the beach is home to many sporting events, concerts, and monster truck rallies in view of the boardwalk.

Best place for morning bikerides (gotta be up there before 10 if you want to do the whole thing tho). So much fun at night for rides and delicious junk food. Even some quality shops, too.
