Plan to spend at least 1.5 hours. The technical museum at the back is a great collection for those interested in communications and transport technology.

Tons of artifacts out in open air surprisingly. Turf houses interesting. Wish there was more explanation so we could learn more.

The museum has a huge collection of objects from various times, but the way they are organized makes it difficult to understand what they mean. Most of the info is in Icelandic. Not worth the money.
