Good little wooden museum to spend a couple hours learning about life in the Arctic. Doors can be low so watch your head.

Buy the combination ticket if you also plan to visit the Tromsø museum (3km away). Interesting exhibits on the polar explorers & the harsh arctic life. Try not to cry when you read about the hunting.

Some of the items there are a bit dated, but it's still quite informational. The section upstairs about Nansen is the highlight.

Very interesting and detailed exhibitions of polar/arctic life. The atmosphere is just as it has been many centuries ago. Photos, pictures, stuffed animals, hunting/living tools and many more.
